Stray chicken
Stray chickenNot exactly wild life but a chicken. She has been around where I live for 4 days to the concern of all. She roosts each night in a tree, shelters in undergrowth and is fed and watered. Being in a fox happy area we were concerned. Anyway someone told about her on our local FB page and a lady thinks from the poor photo that is her Laura who has been missing for 3 mths. Hopefully if she can catch her Laura is going home today.
I am now a widow and live with my memories.
Re: Stray chickenI hope she can catch it. A couple of years ago we had an escaped cockerel living the same way at the bottom of the field behind us, we'd hear him crowing every morning but couldnt find him. One day he stopped crowing & was never heard from again
