Apple pollen timeApple pollen timeThe pollen count forecasts talk about ash, oak and grass pollen.
Does fruit pollen cause hay fever too? Someone commented about 'all those fruit trees' when I was bunged up and croaky last night (they know about them because I take the crop to dance club) Dance caller. http://mo-dance-caller.blogspot.co.uk/p/what-i-do.html

Re: Apple pollen timeI'm not sure about apple pollen Mo, but my hay fever is particularly bad this year.
My mum always says "it's the tree pollen", not sure which tree though. We have lots of apple trees and others here where we live. Bev x

It usually happens in May, seems quite early in the month this year.
Remind me next year to get the veg patch sorted earlier! Dance caller. http://mo-dance-caller.blogspot.co.uk/p/what-i-do.html

Re: Apple pollen timeLike others, my asthmas is bad this year. I face a field full of gorse blossom which according to my GP is particularly bad for allergy sufferers. The fruit trees are full of blossom this year, so that doesn't help, even though it looks beautiful everywhere.
I am now a widow and live with my memories.
Re: Apple pollen timeI suffer from really bad hay fever and can get quite asthmatic with it.
On the plus side, I not allergic to tree pollen, flower pollen, rape seed or anything other than grass pollen - proper hay fever. It comes on from about mid June as the grass comes into flower and disappears virtually over night towards the end of July. I count my blessing that I am not hyper-allergic to everything and just get on with it. Michael
