New Photography Thread.
Re: New Photography Thread.Maybe you need to paste the link inbetween the "[img]xxx[ /img]" (it's the button with the picture of a photo between the asterisk and chain link)?
Re: New Photography Thread.Still nothing. I give up. Even if I did it I'd forget what I did by next time. Dance caller. http://mo-dance-caller.blogspot.co.uk/p/what-i-do.html

ilona Re: New Photography Thread.Mo, to use a picture from your blog, right click on it, choose copy link.
Click on picture icon on the top of this box, paste the link in between the two markers. As LL said above. ilona Re: New Photography Thread.Dance caller. http://mo-dance-caller.blogspot.co.uk/p/what-i-do.html

Re: New Photography Thread. In case the summer hot weather gets to you, something cool to remind you we did have snow earlier this year (24th January - a scene from my patio with the pond under cover, and shed and chicken runs in the garden behind. The tree branches from the top/right is the neighbour's tree which was chopped down last month) Re: New Photography Thread.Another one from me, December 2014. Our church is in an ideal location for photography. It's high up overlooking the river, and the sunsets can be pretty spectacular. I get an indication of a good sunset from my bedroom window looking out over the rooftops of the houses opposite. If it looks promising I nip down the street to the church to get a snap or two.
ilona Re: New Photography Thread.Beautiful photos ladies.
Re: New Photography Thread.Thank you Spreck.
From a walk on Wednesday. Misson near Bawtry. A hot day, mooching around. I love cows. Love the way the young ones are curious. I like to chat to them. ilona Re: New Photography Thread.Did you see the sunrise this morning? Pic taken from my window at 4.15am. I went back to bed for an hour after.
I think photography is about being in the right place at the right time. You can tart a poor photo up with an editing package on the computer, even manipulate it so that it is completely different to the original, but you need something half decent as a base to work from. All I did with this is tweak the contrast which darkens the black silhouettes. ilona Re: New Photography Thread. That is stunning Ilona. We sometimes have beautiful sunrise and sunsets here on the east coast.
Re: New Photography Thread.Down memory lane - I reckon about 1962 in the (cobbled) backstreet where we lived in Farnworth near Bolton. I have no idea who the 2 boys on the left are, but there's me and my older brother. I vaguely remember going on "adventures" with them and others to old abandoned (or possibly bomb damaged) mill sites where they would collect bits and pieces to make something like go-carts. I also remember often being told to stay outside and keep a "look out" - not always successfully ... Re: New Photography Thread.Nature can provide us with fantastic opportunities to take arty photographs. Even something simple as moss growing on a tree trunk. Open your eyes and you will see. ilona |
