Plastering, carpentry, bathroom installments, tilling, concreting, brick/blockwork, put a new roof on my house , velux windows, floor laying, installing coving, put in an en suite shower room which also involved put new drainage in, kitchen installments (next year going to have a go at making bespoke kitchen units) Installed my own double glazing. repair my own boiler when needed (electrical/mechanical) decorating etc, basically have never paid anyone to do any job for me. Just installed a small home recording/music studio (hence the loft conversion) and cheif dogs body and pot washer in our house...

Re: Who knows a bit about what ?This thread is brilliant hearing all about what people can do and what they know....its great to have a list of people to call upon for advise. I know its helped me with any questions I have had for the Chicken bits.
Well what can I bring to the table, lets see, not a lot of academic I am afraid. I have bred small animals most of life so know quite a bit about rats, guinea pigs and mice. Love crafting and sewing, I have a lovely seing room, well its warmer than a shed I can handle small building and plumbing projects, well I built my chicken run and its still standing so cant be that bad By trade I am an Estate Officer for a Housing Company so know a canny bit about Social Housing issues and benefits. I specialise in older persons services so can help out where I can with anything money or housing related. Always on the look out to iradicate finanical exclusion. Pickles...I love me pickles and always have jars of them around the house. Re: Who knows a bit about what ?About the same as the last two posts, can cover most diy matters and light building work along with some car/van repairs. As for gardening thats my work line trained as a gardener/groundsman when I left school.
Re: Who knows a bit about what ?I'm a 'semi retired' ex Auto Electrician, now work as a part time drug dealer, collecting and delivering prescriptions for a local chemist.

Re: Who knows a bit about what ?
Although not active now Sazchops I was very much into it and was also mad keen learning about propagation and antenna design/theory. I also built my own 60ft wind up mast which used to acomodate a pair of stacked yagis for the HF bands. I still have an old 2 mtr sideband tranceiver that I used to connect to the DX cluster with. What class of licence do you and your father hold Sazchops? My callsign is G0UOJ Dont ever grow up, its a trap
Re: Who knows a bit about what ?I can lay bricks, plaster small areas, do plumbing, make simple furniture, lay flooring, painting and decorating, simple electrics. In fact, I'll have a go at most things and they usually turn out OK.
