I have so much to do in the garden that I'd need a 5-year lockdown to get it all straight. But I'm enjoying being outside, and seeing the circle of life is a privilege that helps put everything into perspective at the moment.
Reports and fear of death are everywhere, and yet here we have plants, shrubs (a lot of weeds) and wild-life - so many chaffinches this year - all doing their thing and carrying on carrying on. One or two plants I thought had had it, and cuttings that I thought hadn't taken are springing into life.
Maybe we should all get a compulsory plant on the NHS.
